We are looking to branch out and find a VP of Publicity to help ease the burden on other officers (especially our club president!), here is the "job description" so to speak, and some examples of the level of work we have been doing. We'd obviously want someone who can design just as well as or better than what we are doing currently. We can stick with the logos and themes we currently have, so you don't have to reinvent the wheel.
For: Science Association of Women (SAW) club at UVU
Description:
This is a volunteer position with the leadership team of Science Association of Women and an excellent resume and portfolio builder for a UVU student! We need someone that can be an integral part of our club, creating digital signage, posters and fliers for printing to publicize our events and programs. Could also include such things as working with other volunteers to create hand-made banners, hang them up, hand out fliers if available, etc. Would need to attend our weekly officer meeting if possible, which is held Wednesdays 12-2 (can attend for either hour). Could also include some branding work to improve our current advertising, with approval of the club President. All our current publicity items are in Microsoft programs, so it would be best if these are the programs you are used to using and have access to (e.g. Power Point, Word, Publisher). A school year or longer commitment is appreciated.
